EPINEPHRINE CERTIFICATION
Overview
This class is approved through the Oregon Health Division and authorizes participants to administer epinephrine under ORS 433.800 to 433.830. Participants will learn the proper procedure to administer a pre-measured dose of epinephrine to students who could have life-threatening allergic reactions. Epinephrine certification is good for three years.
Managing food allergies in the school setting will also be covered.
Student Services is unable to provide substitutes or any extra duty costs;
please check with your supervisor to arrange coverage for your absence.
